Introduction to Magic Items
Magic items are the treasures of The Krawl — weapons and armour forged with enchantment, rings and wands that bend the laws of nature, and artefacts of legendary power whose histories stretch back to the founding of the world.
Each item listed here has been catalogued from expeditions into the depths. Some are common enough to appear in any well-stocked armoury; others are so rare that entire guilds have been formed simply to acquire them. Study this manual carefully — knowing what an item does, and what it costs to wield it, can mean the difference between triumph and ruin.
Using This Manual:
Categories: Items are grouped into Armor, Weapon, and Other. Use the filters to narrow by rarity, magic type, or keyword.
Rarity: Common · Uncommon · Rare · Very Rare · Legendary · Artifact — rarer items carry greater power and greater risk.
Cursed Items: Cursed items reveal their nature only upon equipping or through an Identify spell. Removing a cursed item typically requires a Remove Curse spell.
Charges: Some items have charges that replenish at dawn. Items that are destroyed when emptied are clearly marked.
